Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Autonomous Analytics Cloud - Version 18.2.1 and later
Oracle Analytics Cloud Service - Version 18.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Your instance has been setup with OAM SAML based SSO in IDCS. When a user tries to access the OAAC/OAC application from BI Mobile App, it brings them to the OAM sso login page and once credentials are entered the application is rendered in webview instead of rendering the mobile app interface.

Details of the SSO Setup:

  1. OAAC configured with OAM as IDP is integrated with IDCS as trusted application
  2. The "Redirect URL" under "Client Configuration" in IDCS is configured as:
    https://<hostname>/oamfed/idp/initiatesso?providerid=OAACS
  3. The relaystate on the OAM is set to:
    https://<domain>-<servicename>.analytics.ocp.oraclecloud.com/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome
  4. An IDP policy has been defined in IDCS and this application has been added to the policy.

** When the application is accessed from desktop, after federation, the user is redirected back to webview page - Expected behaviour.

** When the application is accessed from mobile, after federation, the user is redirected back to webview page - This is incorrect behavior. The expectation is for the user to be redirected to smartphone view page.
