Symptoms

A Taleo WebServices API export that includes a certain UDF, "Offer,XYZ_2018" fails with error.  

The request includes:

<quer:projection>
<quer:field path="Offer,XYZ_2018"/>
</quer:projection>

Error in the response:

<Exception>
<ExceptionMessage>An error occurred while performing the export operation: </ExceptionMessage>
<ExceptionStackTrace>org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: An error occurred while performing the export operation: at

The error occurs despite the UDF path being correct.
