Smart View Reports Are Timing Out When Executing Large Ad Hoc Queries (Doc ID 2436897.1)

Symptoms

On :  11.12.1.0.0 version, Financial Reporting and Analysis

When attempting to Zoom In to the Bottom Level in Smart View, for a large query, the following error occurs after a few minutes of running the query (between 2 to 4 minutes)

ERROR
-----------------------
Cannot connect to provider. The attempt to connect to the server failed. Make sure the server is running in the specified URL.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open a large Smart View Report
2. Connect Successfully
3. Run the report
4. Select the Product Dimension
5. Zoom In > Bottom Level

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get results for Zoom In to the Bottom Level in Smart View
