Transfer order that use rest API to delivery can not generate a new lot number.
the API will return the error tips "An application error occurred while validating lots or serials numbers. Your help desk was notified."
The API we use :

If there have lot number in the system already , it can success.

or if the transaction is performed from UI , it works.
