Payroll tables cleanup in production: Is it possible to clean payroll historical data ? If yes, can you detail us on it. What dependencies do we need to take care of if any ? (Doc ID 2441471.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On :  11.12.1.0.0 version, Global Payroll

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In Oracle HCM Cloud we maintain the payroll information of the employees. This consists of employee earnings - standard /regular/overtime , deductions, adjustments and memos.
We are synching this payroll data from ADP via files using SOACS via HDL service.

Currently all the payroll data ( scope stated above) since our go live from 2016 Sep is incorrect. Our compare and match with the source system gave us a huge mismatch.
This is due to some buggy integration code which we are currently fixing.

Is it possible to clean payroll historical data ? If yes, can you detail us on it. What dependencies do we need to take care of if any ?

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Payroll tables cleanup in Production

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Issue : Currently all the payroll data ( scope stated above) since our go live from 2016 Sep is incorrect. Our compare and match with the source system gave us a huge mismatch. This is due to some buggy integration code which we are currently fixing.
2. User Plan : We would like to delete or cleanse all this incorrect / wrong payroll data lying in the fusion applications since 2016 so that we have a fresh start. Then we would like to re-run our new SOA integration ( that fixes issues) to repopulate the data into fusion since 2016 till date.
