Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When displaying a custom fact column within a Pivot table, the results display correctly but when exporting the data to CSV format the column results do not display accurately.

For example:

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
For the data export (to CSV) to match the associated values in the actual analysis display

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to OBIEE
  2. Click Dashboard dropdown
  3. Select associated dashboard
  4. Load analysis and note results
  5. Choose Export > Data > CSV Format
  6. Save the file
  7. Open CSV and note the results do not match what is displayed within the analysis

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
CSV download is utilized to show the low level detail which makes up an Analysis (in this case, data within a Pivot table). When the low level data is not exported properly it creates confusion to how the rollup data is being displayed.
