DataSync: "Invalid path" Error While Loading OTBI Data (Doc ID 2443168.1)

Symptoms

You are trying to load OTBI data as per the instructions in the Preparing Data in Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service Guide.  However it fails and this error is seen on the DataSync log:
