Goal

Dynamic Column on New Compa Ratio Resulting in Wrong Value upon Changing Worksheet Data

Due to how customer stores employees' Total Comp Data, there is a need to apply a custom formula when calculating Compa-ratio for the organization.

We were able to meet the requirements by applying Dynamic Columns to both the Current and Proposed seeded Compa-ratio columns. Over the last few weeks, we observed that the dynamic column is only working for the New Compa-ratio when the plan is started. At that moment, the plan returns the correct value for all employees.

However, when a manager enters an increase for an employee, the column seems to ignore the formulas defined under the Dynamic Column and simply calculates compa-ratio following the seeded formula.

As a test, I replicated the same formulas in a Custom Column, and that is always returning the right value. I even tried to call the results from the custom column in the dynamic column of the seeded one, but even then the column is returning the seeded calculation.

The client would prefer to have the values stored in the seeded columns so that Admins and Managers can leverage all seeded reports involving that column.

Can you please review and let us know if this is due to a bug?
