Email and Bell Icon Information Request Notification Not Received (Doc ID 2444496.1)

Symptoms

The configuration of information request in BPM Worklist has been configured as described in Fusion Global HR: How do you Configure Information Request Notifications to be Sent? (Doc ID 2232756.1). However, the email notification is not sent. The notification is showing only in the worklist area but NOT via e-mail or in the notification bell icon.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
 

1. Log into Fusion Applications with the manager role, and go to Recent Notifications.
2. Open one request.
3. Click on Actions, Click on Request Information.
4. In the Request More Information window, check Participant in From section.
5. Fill Comments text box. On the Return Options selection is checked "Route directly back to me".
6. Click OK button.
7. Log with employee role, click on Recent Notifications where no notification exists.
