Update Of Custom Object Is Showing Completed In Import, But Record Is Not Updated On UI. (Doc ID 2445481.1)

When trying to update Custom object record under its parent Opportunity object using "Manage File Import Activities", the record is not updated in UI, although the Import Status is Completed

The records must be updated in UI when Import Status is Completed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Manage Import Activities
2. Run new import, choose Object = Opportunity
3. Edit import Activity, fill details of import, do mappings for the opportunity and custom child object columns
4. Run activity
5. Go to Opportunity UI > edit opportunity > go to custom object subtab >  Notice the record is not updated in UI
