No Error is Received As Expected Via Groovy when Saving Opportunity

On : 11.13.18.05.0 version, Opportunities
A validation rule was created on Opportunity Revenue object, with the following content:
type: Validation Rules
Rule Name: RequiredLeadEntity
Error Message: Lead Entity is Required
if (PrimaryFlag == 'Y')
if(ForecastTerritory_Id_Id_c == null)
According to groovy script, an error message should pop up when the user is saving the Opportunity without having a value for Lead Entity (Custom field)
However, the error message is not appearing,even if the Lead Entity (custom field) is populated at Opty Revenue.
Instead, the user is redirected to the Opportunities landing page.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open any Opportunity
2. Modify the data and don't keep any value for Lead Entity and click on save
3. No error message populated
4. User is redirected to Opportunity landing Page
