Required Check Added For Email On The Contact Object Is Failing During Lead Conversion (Doc ID 2446631.1)

Symptoms

We have implemented a script at Contact Object, to check whether phone or email is populated when a new contact is created.

The Script is working as expected at Contact Creation from "Contact Tab".

However it is failing during lead conversion to opportunity, even after providing the details, the script is keep on failing and not allowing users to convert Lead into Opportunity.
