Desktop Lite - Removing Appointments From CRM, Keeping Them In Outlook

Please help us with the following problem: a few months ago one of our users has successfully synchronized his outlook calendar with the CRM. The problem he has today is that many of his meetings shown in CRM are internal meetings or flights schedule (among others). He would like to delete them from CRM, but to keep them in Outlook.
How can he do this? If he deletes them piece by piece from CRM, at the next global synchronization they will appear as collisions?
If he changes them in Outlook (click on the stop sharing bar), will they remain in the CRM?
Also, please tell me if there is any documentation on Desktop Lite, concerning the aspects mentioned (maybe different situations described, cases displayed – an administrator instruction manual)?
