Symptoms
A) Seeded Costing Account Balances Report is not generating any output and report is blank.
B) some times
the Update Subledger Accounting Balances program completes with the following error:
"xla.plsql.xla_balances_pkg.calculate_balances=>After executing dynamic sql l_open_period_sql, l_eff_period_num: 1
Balances are not initialized for the latest open period.
Before proceeding with balance calculation, run Open Period Balances Program for Ledger ID: 1111 for the latest open period in General Ledger.
A system error occurred. Contact your help desk. Details: A system error has occurred in the program xla_balances_pkg..calculate_balances, Balances are not initialized for the latest open period.
