NullPointerException Error Is Received When Trying To Perform Markup On Drawings And Documents (Doc ID 2448330.1)

Symptoms

On Unifier : Version 18.1

When an attempt is made to Markup the documents attached to a new Document Type Business Process (BP), the user is faced with a server issue when trying to run AutoVue even though a new security certificate has been added.

The user is able to access Autovue to view and edit documents from other BP's, both OOTB and developed.

An error occurred on the server

java.lang.NullPointerException
  at com.cimmetry.jvueserver.DataSorce
  at com.cimmetry.jvueserver.DMSDataSource
  at com.cimmetry.jvueserver.VCETConnectio
  at com.cimmetry.jvueserver.VCETConnectio
  at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a new record in a Document type BP
  2. Attached some drawing files and word documents
  3. Tried to review the documents by selecting Autovue Review Option
  4. Ran the downloaded Java file for Autoview
  5. This is when the above error occurs

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot Markup the documents attached to the new Document Type BP.
