Unable to find PO schedules based on Category
We have assigned categories to items based on tariff codes provided by Customs dept to apply import duties. But while associating PO schedule with charge, there is not search criterion for Category while searching PO schedules.
Item-A, Item-B and Item-C are procured and received in single shipment.
The ‘Customs Duty’ for imports are based of tariff categories of each item.
Consider ‘Item-A’ and ’Item-C’ belong to same tariff category which has charge $10/Litre and ‘Item-B’ belongs to another tariff category which has charge $15/kg.
At the time of associating charge for first tariff category we are not able to find all items belong to same category in search.
Present workaround Ct. is using is including Tariff code in item description.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Create Trade Operation
3.To Add PO shipment click on ‘ADD’
4.There is no field for Category in search. Even in ‘Advanced’ Option Category is not available.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot allocate the specific charge on the specific items.
