Project/Shell Mailbox Item Not Added To 'Linked Mail' and the 'Linked Mail' Indicator Not In Synch With the Number of Items Attached

Expected Result: When a 'Linked Mail' item is added to a record the item should remain in the record and the item count in the 'Linked Mail' hyperlink should match the number of items therein.
Actual Result: The 'Linked Mail' count, e.g., Linked Mail (1), does not reflect the amount of items therein. Specifically, in the Business Process record, under Linked Mail, when an item is added from the Project/Shell Mailbox it does not show up. When the record is closed and re-opened the count for the Linked Mail hyperlink will reflect the correct number of items actually added, but when the link is clicked only items added from u-Mail show and the counter in the hyperlink changes to however many items are actually shown in the Linked Mail window.
