Symptoms

When creating a new project using a Pivot or Table visualization within Visual Analyzer, the following error occurs after adding/dragging a subject area field to the visualization rows:

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Visual Analyzer
    1. Login to OBIEE
    2. Click the "Go to the New Home Page" link
    3. Visual Analyzer opens in a new tab
  2. Click New Project
  3. In the select source window, choose any Primavera Analytics subject area then click Create Project
  4. In the new project window:
    1. Click Add Visualization
    2. Change the Visualization to Table or Pivot (click the default Bar dropdown then choose either Table or Pivot)
    3. Drag any subject area column to the rows grouping (or into the visualization area which will then add it to the rows grouping)
    4. Note the error which occurs
