Deactivating a user in Fusion Apps through REST APIs using AccountStatusChanger (Doc ID 2452616.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2023

Applies to:

Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) - Version N/A to N/A
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How can a Fusion Applications (FA) user be deactivated using REST APIs?

Use Case:

Currently IDCS is integrated with FA using an IDCS Role. If any users are created in IDCS and are assigned the "provisioning Role", the Users are automatically activated and provisioned into FA.

Instead the desired design is, if any users are auto provisioned into FA, their FA access should be set to a "Deactivated" state via REST API. The FA application access will then be "Activated" by an Administrator manually later. With that design consideration via which API(s) can an FA user be "Deactivated" the FA. The requirement is not for assigning/revoking a user from an application but instead activating/deactivating an assigned user in FA.
