Global Human Resources: Seniority Date Configuration (Doc ID 2455834.1)

Symptoms

There is a Seniority Date Rule Configuration in place, for a particular Seniority Date Code.

The intention is to update the same Rule by including "Worker Type" Seniority Filters. However the Filter is in Disabled state.

To workaround this, when trying to create a New Rule (with the same configuration as the previous rule but with additional Worker Type filter), the following error is encountered:
"You can use the seniority code only once when you configure the seniority rules. (PER-1531983)"

To avoid this error, when the user attempts to delete the existing Rule (so that they can create a new Rule), the following error is encountered:
"You cannot delete the seniority date rule because there are corresponding seniority date records based on this configuration. (PER-1531871)"
