Purpose
This MOS article provides technical instructions for the installation and configuration of the SSL/TLS certificates required for accessing your Oracle Cloud systems.
You need the platform certificates which are installed on the Oracle server so that your integration server can send the information to Oracle.
Customers may be presented with a security screen on a given browser (and inability to engage an https connection) if the proper SSL/TLS certificate is not installed.
Scope
Any systems using Symantec, Thawte, GeoTrust, and RapidSSL
Any system using Google via Chrome 70 (starting on October 16, 2018) and Mozilla via Firefox 63 (starting on October 23, 2018).
These browsers will not utilize/recognize certificates issued by Symantec (which were used until November 30, 2017, after which Oracle made use of DigiCert) after these dates.
