Symptoms

You may notice some possible CDN caching issues or if you are perceptive and using developer tools in your browser, you may notice the version number on the folder itself for the update js files you made edits to, is not changing when you publish the changes. But the changes are still there. Ultimately if the folder version number doesnt change, its possible that akamai will deliver the old file without the edits. It is imperative that this folder version number changes with each change made to a js file to avoid this.

If you are making changes to a .js file, and not seeing the corresponding folder version number update with each change you make, it is likely because of the way you are developing your widgets and the following details should assist in resolving this.
