Performance Issues From iSCSI Timeouts On Block Storage With Error: "Kernel reported iSCSI connection n:0 error" in System Log (Doc ID 2461576.1)

This change (disabling NOOP's) has already been made in the base images provided in the OCI console, and is the recommended configuration from the block storage team. The block storage team have seen other service disruptions due to it being enabled so they recommend it be disabled.


iSCSI block storage timeouts on both IaaS (Windows VMs) and PaaS (DB System on VM Standard X7). Resulting in service interruptions and reports of database disconnections.
Also messages related to NOOP timeout are seen in the system's log files.

The error in the system log file is similar to "Kernel reported iSCSI connection n:0 error"
