Symptoms

When any Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC) release before 18.3.3 is upgraded to OAC 18.3.3 and subsequently downgraded (e.g., because the OAC upgrade does not succeed), the BI Search monitoring pages for the catalog and data model crawl will not display the status of any previously run crawls, and additionally no scheduled catalog crawl or data model crawl will run until OAC is successfully upgraded again to 18.3.3 or higher.
