Goal

On : 11.13.18.05.0 version, Service Requests

Unable to delete sub category from Service Request Category.

The customer's method was to ensure any Service Requests were not using the sub category they want to delete. After that, they run a scheduled process "Purge Deleted Service Requests" to purge deleted Service Requests so there is no metadata the delete function sees.

The customer has used this method and successfully removed two sub categories previously. But following this process, the system still thinks there are Service Requests tied to the sub categories.
