Goal

We are trying to create a NotifyMe element as mentioned in the chapter Notify Shoppers When Items are Back in Stock from the documentation.
We have followed the implementation as described in the documentation, but the HTML code provided references a few JS functions which are not OOTB or provided in any documentation.

Likewise we are seeing the following error in the console when we utilize the NotifyMe widget on any page.

What should be in the /element/NotifyMe/js/element.js for this extension?
