Application Freezes When Trying To Change Status For Issues

After updating an issue in the Field App (changing the issue to "Fixed"), the page is ghosted and freezes with pulsing ellipsis at the upper right-hand corner of the page. The page becomes otherwise unresponsive and requires a refresh before allowing any further interaction and any updates to the issue are not committed to the system.
Upon hitting the Save button after making changes to an issue in the Field app, those changes should be committed to the system and the UI should remain functional.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- From within Prime Projects, navigate to Field > Issues.
- Select an issue, make changes and click on Save.
