Sales Cloud Integration Taking a log time

When trying to use the Sales Cloud integration App to create/update leads in Oracle Sales Cloud the application is stuck in "Being Processed by external Application" status and not proceeding to the next step in the program. by validating in OSC, the records are being created/updated, but for some reason it is proceeding
