Problem With Earned Value Period Performance Calculation (Doc ID 2466561.1)

Symptoms

There is an issue with the Earned Value calculation/field. For example, Activity A001, the value of this activity was earned in Oct($2,398.53), Nov($19,188.24) and Dec($2,398.53) 2017. The full $23,985.30 value for this activity is stored across these 3 periods yet the store period performance process has added another $ 0.92 in the Feb 2018 period.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Login P6 Professional, go to Edit, User Preferences, Application -> Under 'Columns', select the Financial Periods : 2016-01-01 to 2018-12-01.
2. Add column Earned Value Cost from 2017 April to 2018 Aug.
3. Go to tool -> Store Period Performance -> select Financial period 2018-07-01.
4. Store Now.
5. From the result, could see the result 2018-07-01: $0.47 for A001.


BUSINESS IMPACT:

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get the correct data for Period Performance Store
