Seeing "Please Check The Shipping Address And Try Again." Error When Selecting Shipping Method (Doc ID 2467253.1)

Seeing "Please check the shipping address and try again." error when selecting shipping method on Storefront.

Reproducible Steps:
1. Go to storefront 
2. Add a product to cart
3. Click on 'Checkout'
4. Fill out email address
5. Fill out shipping address
6. From the drop down select a shipping method --> "Please check the shipping address and try again." message shows up.

POST call fails with 500 error.
