REST API For Content Delivery in Content and Experience Cloud (CEC) Doesn't Return Published Content (Doc ID 2467905.1)

Goal

The REST API reflects the changes made in the Content and Experience Cloud Classic (CEC) console only after some time. Even the console after immediate refresh does not show up the newly created content. There is a short delay before the item is visible.  Why is there a delay? We need to predict the system behavior and be sure, that after the content is published it will be immediately accessible though the REST API.

Use case:
1. Create in a new repository and a new content item.
2. Validate and publish the item
3. Using the REST API, the user finds that the API does not return the new item.
4. After some time, the REST API returns correct items.
