Filesystem Share creation attempt stuck spinning in Management Console (Doc ID 2468360.1)

Storage gateway is deployed on-prem and requires a proxy to access the Internet (and thus Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
Applies to Storage Gateway image version available for download as at early November 2018. If image was downloaded later, it likely has the fix incorporated already.

Symptoms

Customer has installed an on-prem storage gateway following the general steps below:

1) Create a squid proxy server in our VCN.
2) Deployed the storage gateway on an on-prem VM.
3) Set the storage gateway behind the squid proxy.
4) Opened IPSEC firewall for ports 22 & 443 between the on-prem VM and the squid proxy.
5) The squid proxy can access the block storage API through the NAT gateway.
6) Attempts to create a filesystem using the storage gateways web-console just spins endlessly.


The customer observed traffic going over 443 from the storage gateway to squid server.
