Goal

Wisconsin State Child Support stop deducting in payroll

We have an employee # who have two active involuntary deduction currently
1) Garnishment
2) Child support.
Both Involuntary deduction automatically stop to deduct in current payroll period (09/23/18 to 10/06/18). Further investigation we have found that garnishment automatically stopped because of employee belongs to WI State and as per the WI State rules maximum withholding 91 days. So system stopped this automatically. But this employee have child support also and it is also stopped deducting automatically. However no maximum withholding duration day rules exist for child support WI State. Please review and advise.

Additional bulleted User details in response to Dev/Support Investigation:
For WI garnishments, the maximum withholding duration days is 91 i.e. 13 weeks. That is the reason it stopped getting deducted in the (09/23/18 to 10/06/18) period.
- Yes correct we identified this issue during payroll and created new garnishment for affected employees.
For WI child support deduction, we are seeing from the logs that there is an existing PTD balance value already present for child support disposable income and child support deduction balances.
- Yes previously child support was deducting correctly in every pay period. Child support stopped deducting from this payroll period itself. However we haven't setup owed amount.
I also checked rules for WI child support and not found any maximum withholding duration day’s rules exist for child support.
- Yes, PTD disposable earning balance were showing in run results.

We need to debug on if payroll has already been run for that period. Is this supplemental run or regular run?
- This is regular run
Could you please confirm if more than one payroll runs have been done for this period for this person?
- No only one payroll we ran.
Is there any person who is affected with such issue? If yes, could you provide GMFZT logs and complete setup details for one more sample person as well?
- Ok I will share sample details tomorrow for other employee as well.
