Salesforce is deprecating the old Notes And Attachments feature in favor of Files for all SFDC customers who have enabled Lightning. If Lightning is enabled, the standard "SFDC Attachment - Export" integration will not function properly to export attachments from CPQ quotes to SFDC. The cause for this is twofold:
- Note's And Attachments, while currently available in Lightning, will be removed at some point in the future.
- CPQ's Export Attachment feature uses SOAP to push documents to Notes and Attachments in SFDC, but the new SFDC Files feature is only enabled for REST, which cannot be directly performed by the Export Attachment feature in CPQ.
