Error "invalid characters for barcode" -- Order Not Completing Pick With Special Characters Such As Line Feed, Full Stop Or Hyphen In ILPN RF (Doc ID 2474202.1)

Multiple tasks are created which include an LPN with special character(s) such as full stop or hyphen that are stopping the pick.
While trying to pick the task it shows "invalid characters for barcode".
Need to cancel the tasks which is not allowing to complete as these are having special characters.
How to prevent this in the future?
