Symptoms
Using pay rate functionality for about 30 countries, we find that for those employees who are in countries using pay rates salary structure, the 'Annual Salary' pulled into the worksheet from Core HR does not match what is in Core HR.
We are using delivered column 'Adjusted Salary - Current' to pull the data from Core HR to Comp worksheets.
Changes
As of R13 when ever making updates or corrections within the salary structure from the UI the rates engine recalculates and values are stored.
This will make it consistent with other types of salary and customers can report, interface from salary tables itself.
A new process 'Run Rates based Salary Process' using the ESS infra structure is now available. It creates, modifies, recalculates salary records and stores rate component values in Compensation product. It can process data for a targeted population, provides the user an opportunity to review the potential changes, accept or reject them, configure action, reason, and has the ability to rollback.
