The Upload Screen For geoJson Files Is Removed | Missing From The Mapviewer Admin Console (Doc ID 2478047.1)

Goal

You  are using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) 12c (12.2.1.4) and you are attempting to upload a GeoJson file via the MapViewer application.

If you navigate to the Mapviewer Administration Console URL and navigate to the 'Admin' tab, you observe the "Upload Tab" in the lower left is removed and missing.
 

 

If you navigate to the URL: http(s)://server.domain:port/mapviewer/console/admin/upload.jsp the following message is displayed:

"Custom GeoJson map layer upload is no longer supported in MapViewer."

 

The upload ability was available in 12.2.1.3 and lower versions
