How to use HDL to change the Person Type for a Contingent Worker

A Contingent Worker has previously been created in the system. When viewing the contingent worker on the "Manage Employment/Assignment details" screen, currently the details shown are:
Worker Type: Contingent worker
Person Type: Contingent Worker (this is under the Assignment Details section)
However now there is a business requirement to change the person type to "Volunteer". Note that in this example, "Volunteer" is a custom contingent worker type which has been added via:
- Manage Person Types
- Highlight 'contingent worker'
- Click on 'add to create a contingent worker type called 'Volunteer'
The goal of this article is to show how the person type can be updated via HDL to reflect that the person type is a volunteer
