- The connection to the offending instance was working without issue previously.
- The VPN tunnel to the customer premises equipment is up, however packet loss to a specific host is experienced.
- Checking the data path using MTR to the customer premises equipment from the Corente Services Gateway does not show any loss or irregular latency.
- The messages log on the Corente Services Gateway shows GRE creation tunnel messages for two different "remoteIP" claiming the same "GREIP". Sample may appear as:
Note that two separate instances (remoteIP relates to the instance's private IP) are attempting to use the same GRE IP when connecting to the Corente Services Gateway. This shows the behavior happening continually and suggests that this is not a result of the private IP of the same instance changing.
