Oracle Fusion Supplier Portal Users Get Redirected To SSO Login Page After Password Reset (Doc ID 2480253.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Fusion Supplier Portal allows for provisioning user accounts for the Supplier Contacts who essentially are NOT employees of the customer, but can access the Oracle Supplier Portal by using the credentials that are sent via Supplier Contact New Account creation process. Supplier Contacts are authenticated using the Oracle credentials.

Supplier Portal customers can request Oracle to implement solution to by pass Federation SSO for the Supplier Portal access. For more information refer: How to Bypass Federation SSO For Supplier Portal (Doc ID 2267292.1)

For some reason if a Supplier Contact forgets his/her password then they need to follow the Forgot Password process and request a new password to be set for their user account.

But it so happens that after setting a new password, the Supplier Contact user gets redirected to the Federation SSO Login Page or to the Chooser Page (if SSO with Chooser is enabled).

The Supplier Contact user would expect to be redirected to the Supplier Portal (non-SSO) Login Page.


Steps to Reproduce Issue

1. Configure Supplier Portal SSO Bypass as per (Doc ID 2267292.1).
2. Perform an Admin Password Reset Or use the Forgot Password feature to reset password for the Supplier Portal user.
3. Click the link in the Password Reset email notification to reset the password.
4. Upon successful completion of password reset the user is redirected to Oracle SSO Login Page instead of the Supplier Portal (non-SSO) Login Page.
