Goal
My goal is to create a custom Payroll Flow Pattern to include and run consequently 2 Oracle seeded processes:
Run Payroll Activity Report
Run Payment Register Report
Step 1: Added custom Extract 'Payroll Activity Report', a modified copy of seeded extract.
Passed values for Parameters 4: Payroll, Start Date, Effective Date, Scope
Submitted a Payroll Process for existed processed payroll based on custom 'Run Payroll Activity and 'Pay Register Reports' pattern. It produced valid Payroll Activity Report without any issue.
Step 2: Added to the pattern a task based on seeded 'Run Payment Register Report' extract.
Passed same Parameters as passed to 'Payroll Activity Report' task in Step 1.
It failed in task 2 'Run Payment Register Report'.
Step 3: When added 4 more parameters from Task2 and renamed those to avoid name duplication:
Payroll, Start Date, Effective Date, Scope
Payroll_2, Start Date_2, End Date_2, Scope_2
Both Tasks are completed without any issue.
However, for the users it's really inconvenient to enter 2 sets of the same data each time. How to make both tasks to work with one set of parameters?
