Opportunity Subtatb On Account Not Refreshing Automatically After Creating a New Opportunity

We have an object function in place that copies and creates a new opportunity with some alterations in the fields.

To reproduce the issue:
1) Go to any account and navigate to Opportunity subtab. On the top, select Status Equals All.
2) Create a new opportunity and Opportunity Relation as Parent or Child. Fill all the necessary fields.
3) In the details page, click on the Action dropdown and click on Create Brother/Create Child. Save and Close the Opportunity.
4) Back on the subtab, you'll notice that the newly created opportunity from step 3 is not visible. Click on Search and it shows up.
