New Account Property is Not Searchable (Doc ID 2482597.1)

Symptoms

Customer added new property in organization and when use list organization api and pass the query parameter (bill_to_number) of the new field then result is not appearing. But in the same api if they search by "name" then its working fine.
GET /ccadminui/v1/organizations?q=bill_to_number eq "<bill-to-number>" - not working
GET /ccadminui/v1/organizations?q=name co "<name>" - working
