Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to install P6 Professional via ClickOnce, the process fails and the following error occurs in the log file.
Unable to install this application because an application with the same identity is already installed. To install this application, either modify the manifest version for this application or uninstall the preexisting application.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Login to the Cloud portal.
- Select Install P6 Professional and proceed with the installation.
- The installation process fails with reported error.
