Goal
We have a requirement where our FA Accountant users need to be able to do the following (combination)
- Review subledger journal entries;
- Run the create accounting for Assets process
When we make a small change to the data security policy related to 'Subledger Source Transactions' either one of the above mentioned functionalities is not working any more.
For the Grant on the Subledger source transactions DSP the condition is set to ‘Access subledger source transactions for an asset book’ with Parameter ‘140’.
When this DSP is set, the FA Accountant role is able to run the Create Accounting for Assets process without any problems.
However: users with this role are now not able to review subledger journal entries.When navigating to the Review Subledger Journal entry screen, no results are shown (no data to display).
Access to this user is granted on ledgers, data access sets and Asset Books.
For all journal sources, no data is shown when reviewing subledger journals.
What should we change in order to make sure that the users with the FA Accountant role are both able to run the create accounting for assets process and also be able to review subledger journal entries?
