HTML Attribute Values not Showing in Doc Designer Document (Doc ID 2492871.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 11.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a document created in Document Designer, a Commerce attribute of type Read-only text or HTML does not display the same value as shown on a quote. Specifically, the HTML attribute's Default tab is set to No Default Entry, and an Advanced Modify function populates the attribute's value on quotes. When viewing the document, either in the Document Designer Preview or by printing it, the attribute is blank in the document instead of showing the value of the attribute as it appears on the quote.
