Item UOM Drop Down List Issues - Rank And Short Description Not Shown (Doc ID 2493736.1)

OTM Help mentions the below points on UOM (Unit of Measure) configuration

01. Rank controls the order of UOMs in a drop down. UOM with a rank of 1 will appear first in a dropdown

02. short description is what appears in the drop lists of UI. 

However when observed for Item creation page, it is seen that this is not followed & UOM codes for example :NI” and “NM” are displaying at the very beginning in the list (in fact they are ranked as 2 and 3, and there are lots other UOM codes ranked as 1 but not displaying before them. Also UOM code is seen instead of short description

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Trade Master Data>>Trade Item
2. Check the UOM list down. Above mentioned behavior is seen
