Symptoms

Merge request failed due to the survivorship rules are inactive or not triggered

there are many merge request failed because the error message:
You cannot merge the records because the master record cannot be determined. (ZCH-105104) Details: The master record cannot be determined because the survivorship rules are inactive or not triggered.

ERROR
You cannot merge the records because the master record cannot be determined. (ZCH-105104) Details: The master record cannot be determined because the survivorship rules are inactive or not triggered.


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. select 2 account for merge
2. process the merge request
