Goal
As an IT Security Manager for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications it is one of the key security tasks to manage locked user accounts on a daily basis.
This document will explain why the user accounts get locked, how to find a locked user, how to unlock a locked user, recommendations on how to prevent user account lock outs and know about any enhancements to better manage the locked user accounts.
The content of this document is applicable to Oracle Fusion Cloud Application instances that use either one of the authentication option:
a. Oracle Native Credentials (non-SSO)
b. Federation SSO with Chooser Login also known as Hybrid Authentication
c. IdP Initiated Federation SSO
