Symptoms

On : 11.13.18.10.0 version, Opportunities


Projected Revenue and Annualized Revenue Maximum Length Adjustment does not work as expected.

Projected Revenue and Annualized Revenue are both Currency fields.

 

After changing the maximum length to 25 , when attempting to test this scenario with the following input - 111,111,111,111,1.00 following error occurs

ERROR

"Value 111,111,111,111 for field ProjectedRevenue_c exceeds the number of decimal places allowed."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

i. Log into application
ii. Navigator>Sales>Opportunity
iii.Create opportunity
iv. Complete with characters the desired field.

v. Save Opty

vi. Notice error.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot save Opportunity
